Sansavini born in Forlì in 1961, he graduated from art school "PL Nervi", Institute for the mosaic "G. Severini" of Ravenna and the Academy of Belle Arti di Ravenna. His artistic
bases have grown to form in the early '80s, through study, research and personal experience, given the knowledge and use of wood associated with industrial resins and lacquers. The exhibition to be unveiled in Piazza Dante is called "Neverland," a traveling art route, built in 2006 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a proposal for the Italian contemporary art in Germany. Will be 15 works in which the common iconographic element can be found in different stories in the mythological content and expression of the infantile world. This dominant fabulous finds its formal presentation in the most appropriate technique of the puzzle - of nesting - And strong coloristic treatment of superficie.Il content of the works on display is also more specifically expressed in the rest of the cycle in the title: 'Neverland'. Sansavini in the pictorial world of reality and fiction, past and present are often mixed or one takes the place of the other, what happens for the interweaving of poetry, something that can be seen just behind the images and the situations presented. The dialogue with the past is what gives a special dimension to the works of Sansavini. The self refers to the idea of \u200b\u200bspeed, the houses to a safe place, the waves, the sky and the stars are apparently pictures 'children', as an excuse to recapture the man naive now lost. -1999 stayed in Sao Paulo at the invitation of Fabio Maghalaes, President of the Latin American Parliament and Director of the Biennale of Arts of St. Paul to create sculptures on site at the Brazilian Museum of Sculpture ( MU.BE), the exhibition has been sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic and the Secretariat of Culture of the State of Sao Paulo. This itinerant exhibition was brought to the National Museum of Fine Arts in Rio De Janeiro, Rio exposure was desired by the architect Oscar Niemeyer who met Sansavini appreciating the works, the exhibition is subsequently sata esposta presso la sede dell’Ambasciata Italiana a Brasilia ed in seguito al Museo di Arte Contemporanea di Curitiba, e a quello di Belo Horizonte, concludendo il suo percorso nel maggio –
-2003 nel “Museo de Ciencia e Tecnicas da Pontificia Universidade Catolica” di Porto Alegre.
